by Enrique Quisbert, SAG, Senior Technical Instructor This class is a condensed version of a popular class provided by SAG's Education Department. XML Schema, a more powerful alternative to Document Type Definitions (DTD), is used with XML to specify the structural information about an XML document. XML Schema has a purpose similar to that of a DTD, but goes several steps further. It provides better support of modular design and a much more systematic datatyping capability. Topics:

by Becky Albin, SAG, IT Architect Learn about Software AG's newest tool for SQL/Desktop access to Adabas. Adabas SQL Server (AQA) is in controlled release and will support embedded SQL access, ODBC and JDBC access to Adabas. This presentation will cover AQA Architecture, installation, usage, etc. There will also be a short AQA demo of AQA running on Windows 2000 accessing Adabas on Windows 2000. |
