Southeastern Regional SAG User Group (SEUG)

The mission of the Southeastern Regional Software AG User Group is to provide members an active network to share their knowledge, problems and solutions with others in the region that are using Software AG products.

We also strive to provide free education in "On the Edge Technology" from Software AG and various partner vendors.

And lastly, to provide Software AG with a link to the Southeastern user community to gain insight into their needs and to promote dialogue concerning the use and future of Software AG products.

Minutes for our Last Meeting:

Spring 2010 SEUG User Group Meeting minutes:

The meeting was held April 23, 2010, at the Holiday Inn located at 250 Jonnie Dodds Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston, SC.

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 as our President Denny Fallaw welcomed and thanked everyone for attending. Keenan Hogg was present to represent Software AG’s sales department. Patrick Gould, Bob Jeffcott, and Becky Albin, all representing Software AG, were our presenters.

The morning sections consisted of Patrick telling us about the Strategic Directions for Natural, NaturalONE, and Natural for AJAX and Becky telling us about ADBAS Archiving. Patrick showed us a road map for the natural suite and Becky shared with us a roadmap for the ADABAS suite.

After lunch, Bob gave demos of Natural for AJAX and NaturalONE. This was followed by Becky’s presentation on ADABAS Performance Tips and Techniques.

Becky gave Denny a soft copy of her performance presentation so that he could post the presentations on the archive page of the user group’s www.saggroup.org/seug web site.

In his closing remarks the Southeastern user group’s President Denny Fallaw stated that election on new officers would probably be on the agenda for the Fall meeting so that the new officers could have a chance to work with the out-going officers since none of the current officers desire to serve again.

After drawing for the door prizes that were furnished by Software AG, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 3:30 p.m.
