2) Given the constraints of the user group format and budget do you have any suggestions for improving the meetings?
|
- None. Great meeting as always.
- No, I thought it was fine.
- I'll defer this until I've been to a few.
- Meeting was well done with useful presentations.
- Since Becky mentioned how much money Software AG is making (billions), I don't understand the contraints? However, other than making copies of a 155 page document, I think the meetings are fine.
- The meetings went very well and very informative.
- I thought we did well.
- none

|

|
|

|
Good - Topic was good but the presenter left me wanting

4) Do you have any specific comments on any of the presentations?
|
- There's no question that Zbrog thoroughly knows his stuff, but he seems more interested in showing off than in teaching. On the other hand, Becky Albin is an OUTSTANDING asset.
- Dieter is obviously authentic and it's cool to see someone so close to the product. Ralph, as always, excellent. Becky, very much enjoyed listening to her.
- For a DBA still in training, I find it difficult to get the understanding at my level. Also, not many courses offered for new ADABAS DBAs.
- Storr was a bit hard to understand, but his topics were more toward DTS-type shops, so not really within my scope.
- Zbrog was good, but again, over our heads since we still have green screens.
- Becky is always good and entertaining, peeked our interestes although, again, more for DTS type shops.
- N/A
- All of the presenters were rushed to finish. Please allow more time for each - 1 1/2 hours or at least an hour and 15 minutes.
- none

5) Facilities - The change to the Doubletree was largely dictated by economics. What did think of the facilities?

6) Any comments on the facilities at the Doubletree?
|
- wish a vending machine for diet coke had been a lot closer than the gift shop. Other than that, facilities are fine.
- needs a peoplemover like disneyland.
- All was good, except for the long line at lunch. Maybe we could be served from both sides of the table.
- Other than being somewhat cold, I think it was fine. Parking was plentiful!
- N/A
- Liked that it was easy to park, but it was sooooo cold in that room. Lunch was just ok. Don't care for the round table set up.
- The Doubletree was good but the room was hard to find. The lunch was just OK, but it is still nice of SAG to pay for it and the facilities.
- No
- If it is strictly a financial decision, then it was okay, but I prefer one of the other two venues.
- none

7) To reduce the cost of putting on this event, the presentations were posted prior to the meeting and you were asked
to download and print them if so desired. Were you able to do this easily?

8) Anything else you would like to pass along to the user group president or Software AG?
|
- More sessions about Natural would be great.
- Good meeting, glad I went.
- awesome stuff
- Very fine job by our President, thank you.
- A BIG THANK to Bruce and all presenters. It is worth our time for a day's education.
- Keep up the good work! And keep the user group meetings going!
- Even though I was not able to print all the handouts, I don't consider that an issue. I prefer them electronic.
- Thank you for continuing to hold the meetings.
- I hope that we can continue to have them.
- none
